Support the Library
Ways to Support Your Library
DONATIONS: Donate directly to the Library. You can always drop off cash or a check. Rusk County Community Library is always happy to receive money for buying materials–books, DVDs, magazines, or supplies for programs. If you wish to donate books or other items to the library, please do note that we cannot accept magazines or newspapers that are older than three years old from time of donation.
Friends of the Library
Join the Friends of the Library to help the library by volunteering for activities or special events. The Friends of the RCCL Library also operate the Bookshop in the lower level of the Library (O’Connor room), selling used books in order to support library projects and supplies. If donating to the FOL Bookshop, please note the donation guidelines are the same as the Library. No magazines or newspapers older than three years old.
Print off the Rusk County Friends of the Library Brochure or pick one up at the library.
Rusk County Public Library Foundation
Meets annually to ensure library investments are secure and acquires funding for capital projects around the Library, such as solar panel arrays (installed in 2022 and 2023).
